Of Friends and Fellowship

• Proverbs 12:26 (NKJV) The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.

• Proverbs 19:4 (NKJV) Wealth makes many friends, But the poor is separated from his friend.

• Proverbs 27:17 (NKJV) As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend

There are times when we seem alone, where we are even in wilderness, but be comforted in knowing that the Lord is with us, that He removes what is not edifying or conducive. Sometimes that means our friends and the people that we love, those that stand in opposition to God’s plan for our lives, but of these we may be blissfully unaware. Always remember that He is in control, that He has got this!

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)
