4. Give hope to others. More blessed to give

• Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
• 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Submitting to one another in the fear of God.

• Ephesians 5:18-21 (NKJV) ¹⁸ And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, ²⁰  giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹  submitting to one another in the fear of God.
• Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
• Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
• Galatians 6:3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
• Love does not envy. God does not envy. I do not envy
• Love does not parade itself. God does not parade Himself. I do not parade myself

What it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

• Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
• 1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
• Set your mind on things above.
• Have oil in your lamps.
• Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Dear God, I repent of my sins and my ways apart from you. I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord; the master over my life, and my Saviour. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
