Day 67

To the pure, all things are pure. But to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Even their minds and consciences are defiled. Titus 1:15 MEV

When christians used words which has dirty meanings, initially there was so much of the world in me that I was troubled. Now I can gladly see the changes that renewing my mind in the word of God has brought into my worldview.

But as for you, teach what is fitting of sound doctrine: Titus 2:1 MEV

Teach these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. Titus 2:15 MEV

This whole chapter is sort of a plumb-line.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of rebirth and the renewal of the Holy Spirit, Titus 3:5 MEV

Renewal of the Holy Spirit. We are a new creation in Christ.

Day 68

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to minister to those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14 MEV

I believe these are not humans that are being addressed here as well as in Psalm 104:4 NKJV Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. I say this because this fire is different from the fire with which we are baptized with in a way, but the meaning and the source remains the same.

Therefore we should be more attentive to what we have heard, lest we drift away. Hebrews 2:1 MEV

More attentive lest we drift away.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels to suffer death, crowned with glory and honor, so that He, by the grace of God, should experience death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9 MEV

This is taking about the conposition of human being. Remember that before the fall, even though we were carbon based, we were clothed with God Himself. Likewise, we are now clothed with Christ.

For since He Himself suffered while being tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 MEV

This is why Jesus is able to understand us and have compassion. He really helps us especially when we are tempted.
