The Lord is Our Helper

I want to testify of all the miracles the Lord has done as we were planning for the Career Carnival at our school:

– The Lord brought Mala as a partner who is a believer in Christ, and thus there was oneness throughout in the entire planning and execution!

Matthew 18:20 NKJV
[20] For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

– The Lord removed every obstacle along the way, starting with the approval of the event by the management, without having budgeted the same!

Proverbs 3:4 NKJV
[4] And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.

– God gave us the grace to pray through every situation. Mala became very unwell closer to the event. I messaged for prayer and a successful event in the group and she was healed the following day! Thank you to all for praying!

Matthew 21:22 NKJV
[22] And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

– We had a major problem a week before the event. Two of the industry mentors that Mala had confirmed to the school, could suddenly not come anymore, and hence she was extremely tensed and anxious. That morning we prayed, and asked God’s angels to intervene in this situation, and declared victory. In the evening, Mala called to say that she got an even better replacement for one of the mentors. In another 2 days, the second mentor had been found from Delhi itself. Also, in this whole process, we ended up getting a mentor for one more industry as a bonus!

– Around the same time, the hotel where rooms had been booked for all the mentors, said that they don’t have enough rooms for all of them and hence a few of them would have to stay an another hotel. Mala and her team were very tense. This would be very cumbersome for the logistics, and would have created potential delays and unhappy mentors. Again, we prayed and declared that we will get all the rooms in the same hotel! By the same night, we received a verbal confirmation for all rooms at the same hotel except two. We were able to get in touch with the manager, who was unreachable for some days. By the next evening, all rooms were confirmed in the same hotel!

Luke 17:6 NKJV
[6] So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

– A day before the event, I realized that I had understood one requirement wrongly – and hence we needed 13 HDMI cables. One of Mala’s team member who was helping us got really worried, as everyone was already travelling. I told her not to worry and that God would help to get these cables. I prayed and then went straight to the IT department head. I explained the situation and asked if could help me procure 13 HDMI cables by the end of the day. He suggested that I ask the teachers’ assistance, and borrow the cables from them. I was not at peace with this solution. So I told him this will not work, and told him that I would pay for it if needed. He was reluctant at first, but then he said we have actually stopped procuring HDMI cables since after COVID as people borrow and lose them, but not to worry and he will purchase them from his IT budget. The procurement team already had someone travelling to buy other things for the school and by afternoon we had the cables!

– We had a delay in one very important order, but the Lord took care of everything. In the evening 2 support staff were asked to stay back in the evening along with Mala and her team to prepare everything for the next day.

Psalms 55:22 NKJV
[22] Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

– The day of the event also everything went very smoothly. Everyone reported for their duties. Our students who were to speak on stage spoke exceptionally well with very little practice!

– At the end of the day, our two executive assistants who work with our senior management, said that they have never seen an event so well-organized in the school till date! Our Principal said that this is the first event for which no one has barged into her office all the time.

Praise the Lord! All glory to Him alone who helped us every step of the way.

Psalms 121:1-2 NKJV
[1] I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? [2] My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)
