And YHWH God lays a charge on the man, saying, “From every tree of the garden eating you eat; 17 but from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you do not eat from it, for in the day of your eating from it—dying you die (Genesis 2:16–17, LSV)
In this thing called life that God gave to us, we all have a choice, a decision to make between the Tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
One is Jesus the Christ, the other one is forbidden by God for our benefit. It is that simple for me.
