Christ lives to make intercession for you!
As our High Priest-Intercessor, Christ identified with us so completely by taking upon Himself the form of flesh and blood, although He was equal with God, He stripped Himself of His divine attributes and became a man.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:6-7).
Christ, our High Priest-Intercessor, did not remain up in the heavens, but chose to come to live upon the earth and walk among us. Although He was God, He identified with the frailty of man. Being in the form of a man, He felt rejection, pain, sorrow, and death. He was subject to the limitations of a physical body. He was tempted in every way in which man is tempted, yet without sin. He experienced all this so He would know the feeling of our infirmities and could intercede before God on our behalf.
