- He will send help from the sanctuary (Psalm 20:2; Psalm 77:13; Psalm 96:6; Hebrews 8:2).
- He will strengthen you out of Zion (Psalm 20:2; Psalm 50:2; Isaiah 2:3; Isaiah 59:20).

This is the God who met Jacob when he had nothing and deserved nothing (but wrath), and who gave him everything. It is the equivalent of “the God of all grace” in the N.T. (1 Peter 5:10).
To this day among some tribes, it is said that calling out the name of a chief or person of rank can bring protection to one in danger of violence from an enemy.
