- Psalm 37:28 (KJV) For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Saints are made by God and are such in this life. They don’t become saints by being canonized after death. The word is used 39 times in the O.T. and 62 times in the N.T. See note, Acts 9:13. The word is never used of angels, only of redeemed men.

- Absolute trust in God (Psalm 37:3,5,40)
- Consecration to do good (Psalm 37:3)
- Constant delight in God (Psalm 37:4)
- Keeping life committed to God (Psalm 37:5)
- Simple and unwavering faith in God
- Absolute dependence upon God (Psalm 37:7,9,39)
- Freedom from anger and wrath (Psalm 37:8)
- Meekness and humility (Psalm 37:11)
- Abundance of peace
- Complete satisfaction with lot in life (Psalm 37:16-19)
- Boldness in evil times (Psalm 37:19)
- Mercy, compassion, and benevolence (Psalm 37:21,26)
- Obedience to God’s leading (Psalm 37:23)
- Freedom from discouragement in adversity (Psalm 37:24)
- Household under control (Psalm 37:26)
- Righteousness (Psalm 37:21,29,30)
- Wisdom and justice (Psalm 37:30)
- True to God’s law (Psalm 37:31,34)
- Propagating truth among men (Psalm 37:30)
- Living perfect and upright (Psalm 37:37)
- Possessing full salvation (Psalm 37:39-40)
